What it takes time for the thermal paste to boot?
I have a new heatsink. I have the Xigmatek HDT S1283. Your doing better than me my asus artic square thinking. Will it get better after a few days because of the thermal paste?
Actually, yes. Thermal paste and pads thermal require a period of "burn-in to obtain optimum effectiveness. Because of this, many computer enthusiasts make their new machine in a few days straight after booting the first and make sure everything is okay. The paste that address both the cracks, to minimize gas damping, resolve chemically, and bind to the metal surrounding it. After 2 weeks, you'll likely need at least a change of 5 degrees Celsius, but not their hopes for more. It depends on many factors.
