How to change my wireless laptop to the hard line?
OK, so my laptop Hp DV6 is configured to connect to any hotspot. But im looking for my laptop's hard-line through a CAT5 cable. But when I connect the cable modem my comp, there is no difference, and still connected to the radio. Any ideas on how to realize automatic wireless connection to the hard line? because when you plug the cable from ETH that does nothing …. thanks in advance
You may need to install an Ethernet controller driver for you hard wire of work, you might try looking in Device Manager, and then the network to see if installed. If you see only your wireless network networking you have to download the driver for Ethernet. You can also search the network connections (control panel) to see if you have local network connection and wireless connection.
