Can I run two monitors on a laptop that has a VGA card good enough?

I have an Intel 256 MB on board VGA. 'm Capable of running a monitor to extend the desktop to another monitor, but I want to be able to close the lid of my laptop computer and two monitors. I try to enable the second monitor, but it doesn't show up as extended monitor of my desktop? What do I do, I tryed advanced settings and that doesn't work. Im divider and use of this could be the problem, you can not run dual in a laptop? Ive heard you need 2 separate VGA cards to run two monitors, or anyone now a good FMC class as a switch, but it lets you run more than one monitor, is the link for me?

Yes you can. You must disable the auto shut when closes the laptop. Test fit the control panel.
