Can I capture images from the camera via a "Firewire to USB cable?
My camera records to MiniDV tape. I tried to transfer through the USB cable, but didn't work. only be transferred via a Firewire cable, so I wondered if I bought a FireWire cable to the USB would able to transfer images that way. If not, does anyone know any other way to transfer?
You can get FireWire to USB devices that do not deserve talk penalty. I brought one to prove it was a total waste of money, loss of frames, too many to metion. cost is not much the cost of a FireWire card and cable.
