From that page, you have two options: Run the Dell System Analyzer or you can enter the service tag number for your system. The tool scans your system and presents the hardware upgrade options to keep your system running at peak performance.
I recently tested the system analyzer tool myself and the time it took to hit the button to retrieve the information. My system took 35 seconds. The analyzer system told me everything from how many memory slots it had left, and the amount of memory that was already using, what products would be compatible for my Dell.
Everything from hard drives, memory, power supplies, motherboards, cooling systems, networks, displays, mice, software and other laptop accessories, like carrying cases.
All suggestions are Dell System Analyzer specific to my Dell. It's like having a virtual service provider on my computer. Try it, save some time and no service charge per hour or tip necessary. In fact, think of the Analyzer tool Dell system as "tip" for you.
