What is the best security software and the most reasonable prices for my Dell Inspiron 600m laptop?

Im asking 2 questions: 1 What do you think is the best security software to buy Dell Inspiron 600m notebook bought2004 as not to disturb or damage connecting my portable hard drive.

I would suggest AVG Free Edition 8.0. Although free detection system has powerful, including anti-virus, Anti-Spyware, E-Mail Scanner, Link Scanner and Resident Shield. It's like an all in one package that provides full protection for free. A new instrument, the Anti-Hacker will be installed for AVG Internet Security, which only costs a bit. Above all, this package does not slow your computer. Even check websites links even before clicking on it and report if that website contain any viruses or spyware.
