Which mainboard/cpu combo is the better performer? And better price.?

One website has an ASUS P5N-SLI Motherboard and Intel Pentium E2220 Dual Core CPU (no ram)for $99 with free shipping, the other site has a MCP61SM-AM motherboard with an AMD X2 4600+ CPU WITH 512mb RAM for $109 including shipping. I’ve always been an AMD person, and never owned an Intel based machine, would the intel be a better deal are they better processors?
I have 512mb of ram to install on the Intel board. But the AMD board comes with 512mb of ram, so if I added my chip it would have 1gb of ram total. So again which one would be a better choice?

They are both 2.4GHZ Procs but the Intel is slightly faster in apps while the AMD uses less electricity. At the performance levels of these procs I would go AMD for the lower electric bills. Neither one is going to scream so u might as well save some dough over their lifetime. Plus the extra 512 MB of ram can make a difference as well in performance numbers.
