I am installing 2 8600GT graphics cards in adjacent slots, but the heat sink is too large. Are there any thin?
I have 2x graphics cards Nvidia 8600GT (and a FX5500 which is being replaced) in my computer to the unit 6 displays. I want to fit a new card, PCIE x16, which means that the two 8600GTS need to be in areas adjacent to other cards. Unfortunately, the heat sink equipped / fan is too big. Are there refrigerators thinner aftermarket available that can be used to adjust the cards with other PCIe cards? There are 8600 in thin PCI-E format. I hope the answers. Aftermarket coolers also not available, is around $ 20 piece minimum, but no go for me, those are niche products that have no use for.

Upgrading motherboard and CPU on a computer that can seem a difficult task for most people. However, the truth is that almost anyone can install a new motherboard and CPU on your computer with just a little preparation. All you need is to overcome the fear that most people have when opening a Computer Case. The best part is that installing a CPU and newmotherboard yourself, you will save much money and get huge performance gains.
Instructions Things You'll Need:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Motherboard
- CPU (should be compatible with the motherboard)
- Heatsink and a fan for CPU
- Empty case
- Preparation Installation
- Step 1
Make sure the motherboard and CPU are compatible, before starting the installation.
- Step 2
Open a work space that offers plenty of space and light to work.
- Step 3
Install the bronze metal stand-offs in the case of vacuum. These stand-offs create a space between the case and motherboard. Be sure to determine first stand-offs that require installation, since it probably will be more slots Should the motherboard.
