What is the minimum size of the address, in bits needed to address any word (not byte) in memory?
The instruction format for a particular architecture is the field operation (Op Code) and two operand fields, first operand is always an address record and the second operand is always a memory address. If the size of the operation code field is 9 bits, the size of the operating field is 3 bit register, the architecture supports a memory size of 8GB, and memory word size is 64 bits.
8 GB = 1 GWord (8 bytes per word 64 bits). So in order to address 1 locations of GWord memory requires 30 address bits (2 ^ 30 = 1 GIG). If your architecture can address bytes, you need three additional bits or a direction of 33 bits.

If the client is in hospital and suffer from any form of dementia, a private work-sitter can be hired to sit at the bedside. The patients with memory problems have a tendency to wander, and pull intravenous catheters and out making it very difficult for nurses to protect customer safety. A carer is a good option. The client / patient is often unaware that someone is in the room with them. Nanny watches over the patient and help with visits to the bathroom and help with meals. This frees the nursing staff to care for the patient's medical care. For care at home during the day, a nanny is an excellent choice. Some even do light housekeeping.
