Can a Computer LOGISYS work 20/24 pin ATX 480W Power Supply SATA, with a Dell Dimension 3100?
Are they compatible and able to feed a GeForce 6200 128MB DDR PCI-E Video / Graphics Card
You do not need a 480W power source to drive a card as pathetically weak as an NVidia 6200. The 6200 draws all of 20 watts peak. Note that you do not even have a power connector 6-pin – only PCI Express video cards that will attract more than 75 watts (like the 9600GT) are required to have a power connector 6-pin. The PSU store in its Dimension 3100 is already more than a lot of energy for a video card as weak as 6200. Instead of spending your money on a new PSU, what is there to get a better graphics card? The highest card from nVidia PSU can support its stock is the nVidia 9500GT (which also has a power connector 6-pin and therefore consumes less than 75 watts). And the 9500GT will spank you without 6200 sense.
