Can I use a USB-to-parallel port adapter (25 pin female connector) in a DOS environment?
Because some types of reasons, I have to use a new computer 486CPU laptop to connect to an old computer and transfer data via a parallel cable using LL3.EXE. For this, a DOS environment like ports parallel on both computers are needed. The thing is that my new laptop has a parallel port (25 pin female connector). Therefore, I need a USB-to-parallel port adapter. My problem is that trade is the USB to parallel adapters support the DOS environment? If not, how can I do for it? What happens if I use a PCMCIA-to-adapter parallel port? The same problem?
I dont thing it will work.
