Where can I get my hands on a female 15-pin VGA male to USB converter? ?
Recently took an old Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro and I realized that uses a VGA connector 15-pin male and I have no such free port, because my monitor is just taking the plug on my computer. Any suggestions on where to get one? I really want to know why I need to YSFlight Simulator (google).
That is a VGA connector. It's an old joystick port analog joystick using the Sidewinder. It is intended for use with old sound cards that have an analog joystick port. Are you a rookie in Maplestory? Well, do not worry. Everyone once was. Here is a guide that covers the basics of MapleStory.
Download game
To play Maplestory, you must have a Windows XP or Vista (XP, but works better) and about 1GB of space.
Go to the MapleStory website. Click on North America (Global). On the left side, it is a box that says "Free! Maplestory Download". Click on that. On screen, there is a "Version for beginners'. For me, this version is really useless. So scroll down and click "Download" button below of "Full Version". Click Save and the file name. The download usually takes a while, depending on the type of computer you have, but if you're impatient, download the RAR version. Click on each side "and the name of each and save them. Each one takes about 2-3 minutes.
Make a user name and password:
Since the download is a long time, this is a good time to make your own character. Go to the website and click on Maplestory Maplesotyr America North. Click Register and make your character. Remember your username and password.
Installation
After the download is complete, go to My Computer. Find your saved file again. Double-click Install MapleStory. I'm pretty sure I know what to do after this. It takes a while to explain So if not, go to another guide.
Login
After installation, you must have a shortcut on the desktop is going to MapleStory. Double-click on this. A window should pop up. At the bottom of this window, click "play". Wait for load. In the log in screen, type your name username and password and click "Register". Make your own PIN number, one that can remember and not too obvious. After that, click one of the worlds in the top of the screen. Scania is the most people, so if you have a slow computer, I suggest that one. Bera is pretty good, and so is Windia. After you choose, click on a channel. The gauges show how the channel is full, so pick a channel that has a meter under.
Do Your Character
Now you can make your character. Click "Create Character" sign. Pick male or female. Choose the dress, hair, etc. When you have to choose the weapon, the hatchet is the best because it does the most damage on them. Make a name for your character. On the right is a given. The dice are determines what you want be.
The options are thief, mage, archer, and warrior. THIS PART IS VERY IMPORTANT! If you want to be a thief, roll the dice until a 4 or a five-under int and a four or five under force. The rest is unimportant. If you want to be a magician, throwing the dice until you have a four or five in strength and a period four or five in dex. If you want to be a goalkeeper, rolled the dice until you have a four or five low-int and four or five in Luk. If you want to be a warrior, roll the dice until a period of four or five at LuK and a four or five in dex. Be patient. This determines how strong it is. Again, this very important! A Once you get what you want, click Create. Will now be back on screen character. Click the sign post that says select character.
