My program is PCI Controller SATA hard disk, but does my computer?

I have a motherboard KT4AV old and have been trying to figure out how to get the team to see the new SATA hard drive that I recently purchased. My PCI Raid / SATA controller reads the SATA hard disk, but when I look anywhere else, not shown, not on my computer or anything. I checked the Device Manager and it says the device is working properly. My mother doesn't have SATA connections is integrated So I have the PCI card. Anyone have any suggestions?

This is a guess, but try, right mouse click "My Computer" Administration select and then select Disk Management, then click the right pane should be able to see the disk and assign a Drive letter

Integrated Device Electronics (IDE) is the most popular and widely used hard drive interface. The name represents the IDE controller of electronic technology and integrate into the hard drive. IDE interface has been expanded and enhanced IDE (EIDE) technology has been introduced whose data transfer rate is double compared with IDE drives. IDE hard drives were the pioneers in the logic controller was integrated into the hard drive.
