What Computer Case do I lower my temps?
Ok I have a case for my computer. But it has holes in the side to show the very pretty, but totally LCD Usless blue lights inside. I had some temperature problems and I think the fans have in the front and back cuz not get rid of hot air holes not allow a vacuum effect (my theory). I've heard of cases that are airtight and can keep a really good team (like a refrigerator). but I can not find anything. So I need some help. Can I do anything to cool this thing down? Here is some information: I have a 930 dual core AMD X2. 3G Ram. A eVGA 6800 GS PCI Express vid. I really do not want to water cooling! Please help me out here guys. Thank you.
Cooling water and I thought I could not beat … until I bought one of those big fan heatsink coolers. I was surprised. I'm lower temps than I did with liquid cooling.

Penetration testing is conducted by PCI DSS Requirement 11.3 and is significantly different from the PCI DSS requirement 11.2 that addresses internal and external evaluation of vulnerability. Vulnerability Assessment is more of an automatic method of penetration testing and simply identified and noted the reports of the vulnerabilities. Penetration testing can be considered as the next stage of vulnerability assessment and attempts to exploit vulnerabilities found during the VA to determine that the unauthorized access or malicious activity is not possible or not desired. Both network and application-layer penetration tests should be performed from within and outside the network.
The scope of penetration testing should include environment cardholder data and segments of the network connected to it. However, this area will be reduced if adequate network segmentation to isolate the environment of cardholder data from other systems is in place. But such segmentation should be tested as part of the PCI DSS assessment.
There is always an ASV or QSA must perform this type of penetration test, but that can be performed either by a qualified internal resource or a qualified third party. But if an organization wishes to conduct a penetration test of your internal team, then should ensure that remedies are experienced penetration testers and every one connected with this assessment are organizationally separate from the management environment being tested. For example, people in the application development team must not penetration testing application.
Tests penetration can be performed both in box "Black" and "white box" potential. If it is determined that both types of test methodology should be taken to ascertain all possible threats and then there are several elements required by other requirements of PCI DSS that generate information that can be used. PCI DSS These elements include:
- A network diagram of the general infrastructure (1.1.2)
- The results of a review QSA or Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ)
- The annual review of controls to identify vulnerabilities and stop unauthorized access (11.1)
- Results of the quarterly internal and external vulnerability scanning (11.2)
- The results of the latest evidence of penetration (11.3)
- Annual identification of threats and vulnerabilities resulting in a risk assessment (12.1.2)
- Review annual security policies (policies that need to be updated can identify new risks in an organization) (12.1.3)
After to assess all possible threats of test cases should be designed and according to the vectors of attack must be developed to address the risks identified in the environment. The penetration test should be appropriate for the complexity and size of an organization. If unauthorized access to key systems and data is done then they must be corrected and the organization must retake the test until the test is clean and no longer allows unauthorized access or other malicious activity.
Penetration testing should be performed at least once a year and anytime for one year if no major upgrade or modification network infrastructure or applications. Now what is considered "significant" is highly dependent on the configuration of a given environment, and as such can not be defined by the PCI SSC. In general, update or change must be considered "significant" or exchange if they have an impact on environment cardholder data. That is why network segmentation can play a big role and can significantly reduce the scope penetration testing, while this kind of improvement of network infrastructure is undertaken. So as a safety practice to ensure that all controls assumed to be in place before the upgrade of the network infrastructure are still in place and working effectively, all updates or modifications must be proof of penetration.
Configurations with respect to PCI compliance, vulnerability testing and miss – which can lead to DOS attacks that target the availability of resources should not be taken into consideration by the penetration testing as these vulnerabilities do not lead to a compromise of cardholder data.
