How many watts power supply do I need for my PC?

I am ugrading my PC to a better spec, but need to know how much power I will need to make it run effeciently. Here is my spec so far:

Asus M2N 32 SLI Deluxe AM2 Motherboard,
NVidia Geforce 7950GT 512Mb,
OCZ PC6400 2X1GB 800Mhz C4 Latency RAM,
AMD X2 4600 AM2 2.4Ghz 512Kb Cache,
SATA II 320Gb HDD 7200RPM 16Mb Cache,
XION Full ATX Case with 1X120mm fan 2X80mm fans +3 neons,
1x 3.5″ Floppy Drive,
1X DVD RW +/-,
1X CDRW,
2X PCI Cards too!

Roughly how much power, in watts would I need to run this PC? Please bear in mind that i also want to upgrade to Dual Geforce 8800 GTX (SLI), at a later date so I will need enough power for this aswell! Thanks.

600 watts. The dual geforce 8800s will destroy any 500 watt PSU in no time even ones rated SLI compliant. SLI is a great concept but is proven too expensive when compared to performance gains of new cards. Its best to stick with buying one top of the line card 2 years after release. Why? Look at the frame rates of even the 7950GT your installing. It will kill any game at high res in DX9 at multiples of what the human eye can process which is only 30 FPS! I say save your money and get Core Duo. Why? The greatest gains in games will be from FPU calcs in the number of cores you have. Core Duo Mobos that support 2 cores today also support quad and eight core chips of tomorrow on 775. (Just a suggestion)
