Underloading can damage the power supply?
ok, I have a PC with the following specifications: PSU: Tagan TG1100-U96 1100 Watt PSU Mobo: Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 CPU: AM2 6000 + RAM: 2 GB Dominator Courser (800 MHz) Audio: Sound Blaster Audigy ZX Platinum Pro Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Ultra, disco Drive: 1 500 GB SATA 3.0 HDD Optical: 1 SATA DVD-RW a transistor to control the tension exploded in my MB, while the PC was the installation of Windows. A friend of mine said that since I have a very high power output and not a lot of devices in it that I underloading the power supply and damaging lent me PSU tester and another friend of mine discovered that -5 was no light on when I was testing the Iluminating board connector. When I contacted Tagan about it, they said it was normal for a PSU greater than 600 watts to not have this enlightened view when using a tester I've been in for over 10 years and have never heard of any of these facts Should I buy a small PSU by now? Thanks in advance!
Without its power source is good … From what you mentioned, motherboard have faulty capacitors. Therefore, nothing to do with the PS. No need to buy a new PS.

Hello teammates builders. I would like to send a special welcome to all newcomers. I have the impression that we are all here because we are ready to start building our computers from scratch. If that is correct, then let's begin.
If you've read my other articles, who has noticed that you first need a plan. This is essential for any company that intends to do, if you plan to do so as efficiently as possible. In the construction equipment, you need a plan if you intend to get compatible parts at a competitive price.
You have developed a plan and bought the parts compatible you want and need at a competitive price. Now it's time to put the pieces together. Before we start, let's take stock of the necessary tools, at least to build our computers. If you are not a tool person, do not worry. The tools needed to build a computer are fairly inexpensive. The following A list of the 5 tools to build a team:
Screwdriver: Make sure you have a Phillips screwdriver and a flat head. You will use these elements to mount the components inside the box.
Flashlight: It may be well-lit room, but sometimes is difficult to see in small spaces inside the Computer Case, especially after starting the assembly components. Actually purchased a screwdriver with bits removable flashlight together. I ran around $ 10.
ANTISTATIC WRIST STRAP: These devices are used safely discharge static build. By getting one, look for the package, to talk about resistance of 1 megohm for safety, to you.
MULTIMETER: You not necessarily need to build your team, but you might need when troubleshooting a defective part possible. This is a good tool to have.
Clamps: You will be a screw loose in your computer. Sometimes they fall on the surface of the motherboard, behind the video card. This makes it difficult for you to reach your fingers there to pick it up. That's when the clamps come into play.
Of course, there are other tools you might need. A power supply tester is always good to have. The compressed air in a can is another tool you may want to invest in. Another thing you need is a clean workspace. You need some space to build a team, so do not try to put together on the kitchen counter, while his wife's cooking. I use a 3 'x 6' display table. This is my workstation and I keep it a monitor, keyboard and mouse, a tool kit and a cup for the screws.
So, there you have it. My next article will focus on safety. Then my future articles I will go into choosing the right components and how also how installed. I hope to see you again soon.
