Motherboard Celeron

If I have a 2.8GHz Celeron Processor I upgrade to a Pentium 4 without getting a new motherboard?
Some people have told me that it is impossible because of the way Celeron processors are installed, but I thought I would find more information about it.
Celeron can be replaced by some Pentium processors 4, not all. Without knowing the make and model of your motherboard to use, I can not say if it will work.

Many people now opt to build your own computer so they are more in control of the specifications they want and save more than a few pounds. A DIY crowd found around the Internet, and yes, you can build one yourself! But before doing so, you must choose the right components for your computer. Here are some of the most basic components you need for:
Computer cases now come in a variety of designs and colors. Some now even come with a window pane where you can see inside through the parties. What is important when buying a case is that the size of the box should support the size of the motherboard. In mid-tower case is highly recommended as there is room enough for all hardware.
Power Supply
The power supply must provide at least 300 watts and fit right into the computer case you choose. If you're one of those end users or players, you may want to buy a more powerful source to feed an additional cooling, USB devices and lighting case.
Processor
The processor is the most important election we have to do in creating his own team. You have to know exactly what type and how fast you need. There are a variety Options AMD and Intel, for example: AMD Athlon, AMD Sempron, AMD Duron, Intel Celeron, Intel Core Duo, among others. If you only use the computer to browse the web, word processing, games and some graphics editing, 1.8 GHz – 2.0 GHz may be sufficient. Extreme gaming, 3D and video editing is required at least one processor at 2.4 GHz
CPU Cooler
Processors usually come with a fan and a heat sink. But it is better to get a refrigerator that is more efficient and more quieter than the one included in the package. Remember, to get a thermal compound to put in the CPU core.
Motherboard
Choose a motherboard match the processor socket and supports the same bus speed of the CPU.
RAM
Similarly, choose a RAM that is compatible with the speed bus of the motherboard. Get at least 512 MB of RAM.
Hard disk drive (HDD)
The HDD is the permanent storage for system files, applications, documents, games and more. Get the largest capacity hard drive you can afford. If you are on a tight budget, you can get at least 60 GB. Most of the plates base have slots for IDE hard disks. The latest also have SATA connectors for SATA hard drives, which are significantly faster than the IDE HDDs.
Card graphic
If you use the computer for office work, you can get a motherboard with a built in video card. If you use it for games, can want to buy a separate video card. Video cards tend to use an AGP or PCI Express slot on the motherboard.
Sound card
Most motherboards have built-in sound cards usually have good quality. If you use the sound mixing and editing audio or video, you can achieve at least a sound card 24-bit for better quality.
CD / DVD
Optical drive is best for a CD / DVD-RW combo or DVD ± RW, the latter is a better option. DVDs have more capacity than you can store more music files and films and back-up data. If you do not expected to burn discs, you can opt for a CD-R or DVD-R.
