Is there a market for these items?
I am thinking about creating a habit of doing small business and Nano-ITX Mini pcs. They are much more smaller and more energy efficient while still providing sufficient power and speed. My model of values that I have done is one of few £ 170 ($ 300) 1.6GHz, 512MB, 120GB PC with Windows XP. Its 6.5 cm in height and area of approximately A4. There is the possibility of a very fast computer this size, but it will be over £ 400 ($ 700). This would have a 2.5Ghz quad-core chip, 2GB and a 250GB SATA hard drive. Do not think there's a market for these compact PC at this time, how much should I risk on this (I have potentially 3-4K of my own money that can be injected). Thank you very much. If they do come bundled with OpenOffice, iTunes, Firefox, etc, both open source software as I trust that I need
There is a market commodity, but most of the major suppliers and are on the market. I do not think you'll be very successful without more capital. One thing I will point out if anyone is actually doing SFF computer appliances. There should be a lot of breathing room if you can nail some niches.

MSI has carefully designed this industrial motherboard without fans, offering a DVI – MSI IM-945GSE, a mini-ITX motherboard that uses the Atom N270 processor combined with the 945GSE and ICH7M Southbridge chipset allowing the motherboard to run without a fan. The 20-pin ITX power connector is placed at the far left of the Board along with the IDE port on the bottom left. The two port SATA card that is equipped to just above the expansion slot. At the top of the MSI Board has placed the single memory slot. As this Board is industrial based, is intended for point of sale machines that still use COM ports to connect certain devices.
Besides the Mini-PCIe slot in the top left of the board, MSI has a PCI expansion slot. Additional features include high definition audio driver provided by an audio chip Alcatel HD. Two Marvell Ethernet chips supply the Board with Dual Gigabit Ethernet support. Intel has and gives CRT and DVI ports. So if we have a TV or LCD screen that supports DVI, it also can connect and play well for car computers now used to connect DVI ports 7 and 10 "screens tactile. In this motherboard, Intel 945GCM it's just that the Intel Atom lets be linked.
