How do I overclock my CPU Intel – e4600 2.4 GHz? I can not overclock from the bios-Intel motherboard?
there is no option for overclocking in the BIOS as I have Intel motherboard. Please tell me that I can use software to overclock it.
I had a problem similar to that for quite time – an Asus board garbage, and I wanted to overclock Intel E4400. had tried many programs, and finally found one that worked (it took me an hour to set), just to get the speed up to 2.15GHz (the default 2GHz) really not worth considering the PC gave me a blue screen after 15 minutes. Now … I was not even going to talk about this program, it is not really worth all the trouble. The truth is … If you're not willing to spend money, you will not be overclocking CPU, sadly. If you're willing to spend some money on this, and you think you have the ability (or know someone who does) to update your computer yourself, follow reading. That's how I got my CPU overclocked to a very reasonable price (except the case, but I bought it for future updates as well). Once again, I took a very expensive, but you can choose any case that cooling and supports full ATX form factor motherboards. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129058 Do not forget an anti-static wristband local computer store – or do not want to stop frying its own parts, as they performed a static load. This configuration has my CPU up to 3GHz surprising (2 GHz!) and the maximum temperature never exceeds 60 degrees Celsius. However, the case cooling me very well, so no doubt helps. I realize that there are some bad reviews for the motherboard I chose on Newegg, but has been working very well here for more than 6 months, including overclocking CPU and video card. The sound board also kicks ass, as weird as it is. Installing refrigerator may take a while to be okay, but it will work on time. Now … To use cooler I mentioned, be sure to do the following: scrape the old cooling paste, using some cotton swabs and then apply the material covered in the refrigerator! I forgot to do this the first time, and my temperatures reached 75 degrees Celsius, which is not good at all. With pulp included in place however, never exceeds 60 degrees Celsius. If you want I can add a picture of everything together later, but the battery on my camera being charged at this time.

Intel's brand new graphics chip is made of many older Pentium processors. Is that going to the bathroom or very prescient?
Dedicate a thought for AMD and NVIDIA. They have been happily snapping each other's head's mouth for a decade. But at least they have been doing so safe in the knowledge that their GPUs are distinct from – and inherently superior in graphics processing terms – to CPUs.
At least, it used to be the case. Intel has introduced Larrabee, a co-processor based on a completely new approach to graphics processing. If Intel has done his calculations correctly, not only the definition same for the GPU be unceremoniously ousted, but also AMD and NVIDIA graphics chips, it could even be beaten to the very edge of existence.
If that sounds like arrogance, to prove that size. Larrabee could also break the rulebook for CPUs, too. Thus, a unique new architecture could only assume as latest round of processor all eventually cannibalizing sales of Intel's own conventional CPUs.
What do is exactly this death destroyer, this harbinger of doom that is manifest in 45nm silicon? A kind of retro-engineering of alien technology? Well, here comes the really fun. In simple terms, is just a metric crapload of old Pentium MMX processors crammed into a single mold-mounted processor and a PCI Express graphics card like any other.
Exactly how many of these cores Larrabee Intel has yet to be drawn. Bearing note that chips based on the Larrabee architecture will not go on sale until later this year or early 2010, is completely Intel has not yet been possible complete the core count.
Displaying the clock cycles
Yet we know from the Pentium design cores makes them much smaller than those found in a given Intel Core 2. In fact, suggests that 10 Larrabee cores Intel can fit into the same space as a single die 65nm Core 2 Duo. Extrapolate out that the use of the knowledge that Larrabee will be based on silicon technology for 45nm chips Larrabee will calculate the least 32 cores at launch.
Other than the Pentium link, the other important feature of the Larrabee core architecture is a superwide floating point unit. Capable of handling 16 instructions per clock cycle, four times as wide as the equivalent unit in one of the existing desktop CPUs from Intel. Factor additional capacity in each core to support four software threads and potential of the chip is truly amazing. It is quite possible that Larrabee might deliver 100 times floating-point punch of a Core 2 Duo chip.
Impressive as it sounds, we do not know is how good this battery of general purpose and core will actually be compatible x86 for graphics processing. Sure, it will be much more programmable graphics chip than any before. But that does not mean it will be fast.
How it works
The key difference between Larrabee and all previous graphics chips is the programming. The latest AMD DirectX 10 GPU and NVIDIA can be much more flexible and programmable parent, while retaining a wide range of fixed function units for sampling texture rasterization, geometry and configuration. Only units are truly programmable shading and even those who are much less flexible than general-purpose CPU.
A series of pipes
With Larrabee, the entire delivery is handled in pipelines the software of a small battery of x86 cores. The sole function of the fixed units are examples of texture, which Intel says it allows greater efficiency and performance anisotropic texture filtering. In effect, therefore, the resources of the entire computer chip can be used to attack the most complex task at a given moment in time. In systems with up to 32 cores, benchmarking shows the increased performance by approximately a linear fashion in relation to the number of cores processing.
Not only do programming Larrabee theoretically more efficient than previous GPU also means that only A software update is needed to allow future Larrabee graphics APIs support.
