EVGA GeForce 8400 GS 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Video Card Question?

I have a ASUS M2N – SLI with the EVGA GeForce 8400 GS 512 MB video card. I checked the website and EVGA says this card is SLI ready. My problem is that this card does not have the SLI connection on top. The question is whether to buy exactly the same card for my computer How can I run in SLI mode without the SLI bridge. Please do not tell me to buy a better card. I'm on a tight budget, but this card is fairly cheap (49.99) for me.
