How do I format my drive and reinstall Windows XP on my computer?

I have an HP a1600n computer that has Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition installed on it … I already backup all my files I wanted to keep an external hard drive. The problem is, is that my computer did not come with any type of CD that will allow me to reinstall Windows XP on it. It has a recovery console but … How do I reinstall Windows XP on it? Why not these computers come with a recovery disk? Thank you!

The HP computer must have a utility to create recovery discs. Go to this page put in your model and select Download drivers and software. http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?pageDisplay=drivers The page takes you to click on the link to Windows XP for your operating system On that page, on the order page CD-ROM, click the link that says read before ordering. It takes you to a page explains how to create discovery records. If no CD recording drive, it also explains how to tell which disk to order. Your other alternative is to buy a disc WinXP installation.

SSD Solid State Drive is a hard drive with no moving parts. In a normal hard disk is a rotating disk spinning when in use.
