How does my home network using an Ethernet cable?
Hello. Currently, I'm wanting to do a wired network to save to buy a wireless router. The house is unfinished and holes can still be done. I need modular network of outlets in 6 rooms, I use some kind of Ethernet cable and connect the cable up to a wall on a wall multiple elsewhere. This is so I can connect to these without the loads of cables everywhere. The problem is I do not know what to buy Ethernet cable, and I do not know which outlets, tools, etc. also have to buy. I preferably want the network to have a speed of about 1 GB. I also wondered if anyone could tell me how to connect these, and if there is a specific form of wiring them. Many thanks.
Buy CAT6 Wire. It's not so expensive and worth the investment if you are wiring the house and in its construction. Belkin is a great brand and online HP is selling 1000 'of CAT6 bulk for $ 150. Oh, there was the cost of the wireless router. Then hire a professional network that have test equipment to install the cable for you. In California, they should have a contractors license and the cable would have to be added to your existing building permit. This does not apply to mobile or when the cable is to be installed in an existing structure. That O: Get RJ-45 crimping tool. Get $ 85 most CAT6 1000 'reel wire. $ 150 Get the RJ-45 connectors. $ 15 in bulk. Connect the cable using the same colors at both ends and goes to work. It will not be the norm however. Check the source to pin wiring CAT6 cable connectors. Get a cable 620 of Fluke Network Tester to test the cable before installation. $ 165 Wired router setup $ 35 everything and hope that the building inspector for your locale does not realize. Total price $ 450 Top of the Line Wireless Router DLink DIR-655 $ 129 Top end adapter Wireless USB Adapter $ 79 Total price $ 603 if 6 computers need wireless adapters.

Now a day everyone has a computer at home for personal use. So for that they need an internet connection since without internet there is no sense equipment. Many people have relatively easy for the needs of their home networks. Even as many teams within a single home are common, systems are not common network, with the file transfer is done through sneaker network file, or copy and from a CD or by transferring files via email.
This is a better time to build your own home network, if you have always wanted. The costs and difficulty of the systems are lower than ever. Just getting past technical terms used is the largest wall for many builders of new home network. The tools needed are widely available. You will require Cat-5 Ethernet network or a wired network cabling. Imagine where you will configure your teams to decide how much cable you'll need and then add about 1 / 5 more than the cable that always require a bit more than you think before days of networking this was one of the most excellent ways to fix the computers together and is still used on UNIX machines as the primary method of connection to warm up. The latter is a standard for transmitting audio over a fiber optic fiber cable. Used mainly by sound systems Dolby lock and new laptops. USB cable first used for the latest standard of printing. You can even do USB to USB link wireless Internet. There are now two versions, USB1 and USB2. USB1 12Mbps speed while running USB2 transfer to 480Mbps (megabits Mbps is the transfer rate for each second).
Home PC cables connecting devices in real equipment of the main board is the motherboard. The slower speed connection used by Floppy cable IDE cable and then inserted into the hard drive. SATA (Serial ATA ATA) cables have now to go beyond the primary IDE cable as the connection method of a hard drive and a motherboard. SCSI cables are usually only used in servers for connecting SCSI hard drives. Network Cables, two types of network cables, Cat5e and CAT6. Within these two types there are two formats, straight through (standard) and cross. The difference is that directly across networks common standard used in all across companies and are used to connect computers to wall sockets network and network patch panels to switches network. For smaller networks, ie, two computers, a cable of intersection is used between two computers with network cards so they can talk to each other. Difference between the speed of CAT5e and CAT6 is generally thought to be 100Mbps and 1,000 Mbps for Cat5e Cable Cat6 network. Although actually, Cat5e can run at 1,000 Mbps, but is not properly protected to do so.
