my Emachine w3115 needs more memory, will this work appear?

the computer memory is a Emachines w3115 Desktop PC standard is 512 MB of RAM and update the maximum is 2 Gigabytes. However, I know it's not the only factor to consider memory upgrades. Not sure if my PC can handle memory high density of the United Nations and I am sure if my memory I'm looking to buy is high or low. memory in question for this update would be G.
