What is a chocolate chip cookie recipie that is still soft after cooling?
I bake a giant cookie for my friend, but not be able to give her until the next day. She is allergic to nuts, so what's a cookie is still good will be soft, a day after cooking that has no nuts?

Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon on a ungreased baking sheet. BAKE 9 to 11 minutes or until golden. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes and remove to wire racks to cool completely. PAN COOKIE VARIATION: Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll bread. Prepare the dough as above. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until browned. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Makes 4 dozen bars. Slice and bake COOKIE VARIATION: Mass preparation as before. Divide in half, wrap in wax paper. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm. Form each half into a record of 15-inches, wrap in wax paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes .* Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices, place on a baking sheet without grease. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until browned. Cool in the leaves to cook for 2 minutes and remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 5 dozen cookies. * Can be stored in the refrigerator up to 1 week or in freezer for up to 8 weeks.
