Analyzer Post
RAM is recognized by PC Wizard, but not in Windows or the BIOS.
My team has always been running on 768MB Memory PC3200. A stick of 256 generic and a stick of Corsair 512. I just purchased 1 GB memory for less at CompUSA (replacing the 256 MB stick). Installed, and was not recognized in the post or the Administrator Windows task, however, PC Analyzer Hardware Wizard seemed to see him well, though not utilizied. I changed the layout of the two sticks in the memory banks. The concert was a stick to see in Windows / BIOS, but now the 512 Corsair was only seen in the PC Wizard. Normally, I'd say the hardware damaged during installation, but Why is viewed by the analyzer hardware? It seems that your motherboard does not support this amount of RAM stick. Are you sure it supports 1GB sticks? (You can check by going to a place like www.memoryx.net and looking up.) PC Wizard is reading the configuration stored on the Memory Stick. That will work even if the BIOS on the motherboard does not recognize or support it. But if the motherboard has no rigging wires to effectively use * * It will not show as available RAM.
