If you attach a wireless network adapter in my desktop is picking up any wireless signal around me?
Some signals do not have WEP or any other cause of safety in all some even do not understand anything about how to protect your signal
Depends on signal strength. By example, I can usually sense a pair of wireless signals in my neighborhood from other residences. That's the good news. The bad news, if you're looking for Free Internet access is that most people secure their wireless networks so that an outsider can not access them.
